THOMAS (TOM) W. EDMAN

Tom's practice includes the preparation and prosecution of patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Tom's practice also includes performing patentability and clearance studies, as well as providing infringement and invalidity opinions. His practice focuses on the technical areas of telecommunications, digital multimedia, network hardware, electronic and mechanical devices, and wireless communications.

Before joining Snyder, Clark, Lesch & Chung, Tom was an attorney at Harrity Snyder, LLP and, prior to that, was an attorney with Hogan and Hartson (now Hogan Lovells) in Washington, DC.

Prior to entering private practice, Tom was a law clerk with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in the agency's intellectual property department.

Before entering the legal field, Tom was a practicing engineer with Marconi Systems Technologies for approximately six years. While with Marconi, Tom provided technical support and assisted with contract dispute resolution for the U.S. Navy Destroyer Program.
