Rob Clark's legal practice includes patent preparation and prosecution, patent infringement/non-infringement and validity/invalidity opinions, and client counseling. Rob's experience covers a variety of electrical and electromechanical, computer-related and mechanical technologies, including computer hardware and software, business methods, telecommunications, semiconductor, computer networking, and Internet-related technologies.
Rob has prepared and prosecuted hundreds of patent applications with the United States Patent & Trademark Office as well as foreign jurisdictions. In addition, he has also conducted patent harvesting sessions with clients, to explore and identify subject matter for patenting. Rob has rendered numerous validity and infringement opinions in the fields of video display technology, computer networking and business methods. He has also participated in a variety of patent litigation activities, including motions practice, depositions, and discovery practice.
Prior to forming Snyder, Clark, Lesch & Chung, Rob was an associate with Harrity Snyder. Before that, he was an associate at Hunton & Williams, LLP. Rob was also a Patent Examiner at the United States Patent & Trademark Office. At the Patent Office, he examined patent applications in the areas of measuring devices and computer encryption technologies.
